Paint removal and Safety
REMOVING FACE PAINT:
It is very simple to remove Face and Body paints as you have been painted with high-quality products. Follow these steps:

-
Gently rub your skin with a moisturizing of your choice. A few popular options include baby oil, coconut oil, olive oil, cold cream, etc. As long as it is safe and gentle on your skin, and highly moisturizing, it will work great!

-
Loosen up the face paint with your fingertips. The face paint will begin to lift up off of the skin and break down.

-
Wipe your skin very gently with a tissue or a warm damp washcloth.

-
Now use a gentle cleaner to remove anything left. I like to use Cetaphil or Neutrogena with a warm water and washcloth.

-
Rinse.

-
Pat your face dry.

-
If there is any left-over staining of the skin? DO NOT panic! This is natural as certain colors can impact and/or lightly discolor some people's skin. This is harmless, and will fade away as the skin creates its own natural oils. If you would like to speed this process along, try some additional lotion or coconut oil with a cotton ball.

The most important thing to remember is this: Be as gentle with your skin as possible.

Do NOT wipe you or your child's face with ordinary baby wipes! 90% of brands are not meant to be used on the face. Many brands contain Methylisothiazolinone, which is known to cause allergic reactions such as stinging, burning, redness, and more, when applied to the face. The safest method for cleaning off face paint is the one outlined above.
Be kind to your skin, and it will be kind to you!
Thank you and happy cleaning!
